Claudia Taborda

Born in Lisbon and graduated in landscape architecture from the University of Évora and from Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Since 1993 has practiced in landscape architecture within a cross-disciplinary working agenda. Her research project has focused on landscape production in relation to contemporary phenomena. She has taught in France, Italy and Portugal, published and lectured on landscape and related subjects in Portugal and abroad. She was curator of LISBOSCOPIO, the Portuguese Official Representation at the 10th International Architecture Exhibition Venice Biennale, in 2006. In 2007 she was curator of Places and Transitoriness: space, thinking, re-action for the landscape exhibition at the 2007 Lisbon Architecture Triennale.Currently she is a visiting design critic and lecturer in the Department of Landscape Architecture Department at the University of Pennsylvania School of Design.
