The Triennale hosts two round tables on Earth Construction

During 2017, the Centro da Terra Association promotes a Roundtables programme to discuss the problems of Earth Construction’s framework according to current legal and regulatory requirements of construction in Portugal. Held in partnership with Lisbon Triennale, the Palace hosts the first two sessions taking place on 18 and 25 March (10.00 – 13.00) each with its theme - Thermal Comfort and Structures - aiming to figure out the real national panorama of Earth Architecture.

These encounters, which are open to public, will address the issues facing the legalization of projects through the exchange of experience and visions. Architects, builders, researchers and experts are invited to participate to attempt the information and research needs in this field. The purpose of this cycle is to accomplish guidelines that will assist all practitioners in this area and allow the improvement of the regulation consistent with this type of construction.
