The prestigious Graham Foundation awarded, for the first time, the Lisbon Architecture Triennale with one of its grants. The Form of Form, the publication of the 4th edition is one of the 49 selected projects.

The fund, in a total value of valor total de US $496.500 (446.702€), is targeted to projects of international organizations with the goal to encourage innovative ideas in the field of architecture.

The book The Form of Form is intended as a complement to the programme of the Lisbon Triennale 2016, curated by André Tavares and Diogo Seixas Lopes. The publication will focus on a series of questions regarding contemporary challenges and practices of architecture. Graham Foundation referred to the “innovative character” of the editorial content which focus on the form in architecture, not only from an aesthetic and technological perspective but also its social and political dimensions. It is an approach that promotes the debate about the different effects of form in contemporary architecture and its impact on society.
