Visions on the future of architecture – international Open Call

Visions on the future of architecture – international Open Call

The Future Architecture Platform launched an international Open Call to discover new visions on the future of architecture. Composed by 14 international organizations it is the first architecture european platform that includes museums, festivals, and other content producers in this field, such as the Lisbon Architecture Triennale.

Until 31 December, the platform welcomes participations from emerging architects, landscape architects, urbanists, curators, designers, artists and film makers, with projects that reflect, explore, involve and shape the environment in which we live, projecting it into the future. Aimed at promoting a new generation of professionals, the Future Architecture Platform will invite authors to participate in projects outside of their permanent residency country, representing an incentive to mobility, cultural and experience exchange.

The first selected ideas will be presented in a conference in Ljubljana from 18 to 20 February 2016. From this presentation the Triennale will select some projects to integrate the Satellites, an exhibitions programme of emerging authors intended to provoke resonance on the themes debated during the 4th edition in 2016.

International Open Call: until 31 December 2015

First selection of projects: 20 January 2016
