Valmor Architecture Award

For more than 100 years the Valmor Prize, later merged with the Architecture Municipal Award, has awarded the best architecture in the city of Lisbon, and this way also awarding many architects that are now part of the history of architecture in Portugal. Created in 1903, by the 2nd Valmor Viscount, Fausto Correia Guedes, this prize is awarded to the architect and the promoter of the building in equal parts.

The Lisbon Triennale has collaborated with the Lisbon Municipality gathering information, accompanying the jury meetings, redesigning the image and materials presenting the award, designing and installing the exhibition, and organizing visits to the awarded buildings.

On December 18th 2017 the winners were announced (and the honourable mentions) of the cycle 2013 – 2016:
