To reinforce the Lisbon Architecture Triennale’s on-going commitment to generate debate, collaboration across geographic, ideological and disciplinary boundaries, we’ve been publishing books as long-term legacy that have different roles: a newspaper as the Portuguese Official Representation at Venice Architecture Biennale, a book as part of the showcase narrative and a compilation as complement of our exhibitions.

The series of publications, that ranges from print and online, is linked to our regular activity since 2007 is the result of our overall efforts to catalyse, foster and promote architectural thinking and practice. As a dissemination platform for contemporary discourse and research on architecture and the built environment, it explores themes from different perspectives, as well as it gives voice to a plurality of actors, approaches, methodologies and themes.

The collection of publications of the Triennale is available at our pop up bookstore located at Palácio Sinel de Cordes. Thus, we have been collaborating with specialized publishers and sometimes in partnership with cultural or academic organizations around the world. Published in English and Portuguese, our books can be found mainly in specialized bookstores and online through the partnership with Monade, an independent Portuguese publisher focused on architecture, photography, art and thought.
