As an organic unit, it possesses four seals (Verbo, Ulisseia, Pi, K4, Guimarães, Centauro, Babel, Ática and Athena), each with its own mission. This publisher is not a group; it is a unique and individual reality. It is the place where people do what they believe in, making great books. In Lisbon, it runs and dynamizes four bookstores (in Chiado, at the National Library, in São Sebastião and at Cinemateca de Lisboa). Babel is an associate member of the Triennale Association since its creation, on 23 July 2010, having been the official publisher of the 2010 Triennale – Let's Talk About Houses –, through the Athena seal.
