PhD in Art History by the University of Coimbra (2001), she is a professor and researcher specialised in the History of Portuguese Painting, author and coordinator of art editions. She has integrated research teams, collaborated in the study, management and promotion of Portuguese artistic heritage with institutions, in Portugal and aboard. Made many conferences and participated in scientific meetings in Portugal and abroad. Curated exhibitions of contemporary and ancient art. Rodrigues was the director of Museu Grão Vasco (2001-2004), in Viseu, Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga (2004-2007), in Lisbon, and Casa das Histórias Paula Rego (2009-2010), in Cascais. She was also the Director of Communication, Marketing and Development at Casa da Música, in 2008, and a member of the board of directors of the Centro Cultural de Belém.
