Lisbon, 1975. Architecture Graduate by FAUTL (1999) with a Master in Professional Studies by Interactive Telecommunications Program, Tisch School of the Arts, NYU (2012). Filipa has consolidated professional practice experience in Portugal and the United States in projects that include cultural and art exhibition spaces, landmark preservation and adaptive-use. Collaborated with, among others, Paulo David Arquitecto, Li/Saltzman Architects e Gluckman Mayner Architects. Since 2012 develops and implements educational programs based in project based learning methodologies, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and maths) oriented education and Maker-ed. She was part of hTINK and NYC-Makery collaboratives, initiated BQ’s education department in Portugal and is a member of MILL and 8Oitenta, an educational organization.
