Leonor Cintra Gomes

Chairman of the Advisory Board

Born in Lisbon. Graduated in Architecture by ESBAL, in 1977. Collaborated with the architecture studios, and in 1980 enrolled in public administration. Since 1990, she has worked at CCDR-LVT, in the territory-planning department. Gomes was a member of the South Region Board of Directors, from 2005 to 2007 and from 2008 to 2010. Today, she is vice-president of the Assembly of the College of Urban Planning (CEU). She has promoted and participated in several initiatives about the construction of the territory and citizenship, like the cycles “Cidade que temos Cidade que queremos” [City we have city we want], “A Prática em Debate” [Practice in Debate] e “Cidade planeada Cidade executada” [Planned City Fulfilled City], a 1st Lisbon Architecture Triennale and the sessions “Um dia por Lisboa” [One Day for Lisbon], at S. Luiz Municipal Theater.
