Foodscapes invites Territorial Agency
The Spanish Pavilion at the XVIII International Architecture Exhibition la Biennale di Venezia is a research laboratory open to the public with the aim of collaboratively exploring the future of today's food systems. Over five months, experts from diverse backgrounds and disciplinary fields have been invited to join this research exploring the intricate architectures that range from the intimate spaces of the kitchen to the vast operational landscapes that feed our cities.
It is now the Territorial Agency's turn to contribute to this large-scale mapping and explore the future of our food systems that starts from the premise that 'By eating, we digest territories’, with a talk on September 16 2023, às 16h.
Curated by Eduardo Castillo-Vinuesa and Manuel Ocaña, Foodscapes explores the agro-architectural social-industrial complex of both Spain and Venice to address these issues on a global scale. The creation of an open research platform is in line with the next and 7th edition of the Triennale that is under development and whose kick-off in Venice takes place on 15 September 2023 at 15h.
