International Tour presents Terra in Madrid
Madrid is the first stop in an international tour presenting Terra that will arrive in the Spanish capital on June 29 for a debate that anticipates the public discussion brought by this edition. The gardens of the Fundación Giner de los Ríos, designed by Madrid-based studio amid.cero9, are the setting for a relaxed conversation between general curator Cristina Veríssimo and Sevillian architect Santiago Cirugeda, founder of Recetas Urbanas studio, about environmentally committed action strategies that answer to the social challenges of urban ecosystems.
Due to its cultural and geographical proximity, Spain has been a recurring stop for presenting each new edition of the Triennale. In 2019 we shared The Poetics of Reason at the Mies van der Rohe Foundation in Barcelona and in 2016 the College of Architects of Madrid hoasted us for a debate on The Form of Form. With the support of Acción Cultural Española and the Portuguese and Chilean Embassies in Spain, we return once again with a public discussion that aims to look at local approaches involving new voices.

In early July we go to Berlin, joining in dialogue the curatorships of two architecture festivals taking place this autumn: the Lisbon Triennale and the Tbilisi Biennale, sharing this moment with professionals, students, activists and cultural agents in the German capital to invite them to visit Terra.
On September 29 we celebrate the opening of Terra with three intense days of free admission when Lisbon becomes an international forum to discover the future of ecology in architecture.
