Independent Projects of Triennale 2022 already selected
Given the excellent quality of most submissions, the jury extended the selection to 15 Independent Projects, instead of the 12 that were initially planned. With different formats, they will integrate the central programme of Terra and enhance, in an articulated way, the reflection on the future of ecologies in architecture.
These public events are taking place during the Triennale 2022 in different locations around Lisbon and neighbouring municipalities, and a considerable number of proposals will be hosted at Palácio Sinel de Cordes, as a cultural cluster born from the strategic partnership between the CML and the Triennale. Here is the selection of projects that brings together individual and collective initiatives, representing 21 nationalities:

The selection was guided by three ground criteria - the idea’s originality, relevance, and project feasibility; the relationship the proposal establishes with the general theme of the 6th edition or the subtheme(s) developed by the central exhibitions; and the relevance of the project team and their partners.
For this call, the jury was composed by Cristina Veríssimo and Diogo Burnay (Chief Curators of the Triennale 2022), José Mateus (Chairman, Lisbon Triennale), Filipa Tomaz (Educational Service Coordinator, Lisbon Triennale), Tiago Pombal (Independent Project Coordinator, Lisbon Triennale).
