About the Place
Designed in accordance with the Telheiras Sul development plan parameters, the residential building this apartment is in is a Valmor Prize recipient. A council initiative carried out by EPUL, the building features shop spaces on the ground floor and four levels of duplex apartments above, which mirror each other. These apartments present the original configuration, although there has been a number of interventions as a result of people living here over a long period of time. Today, it is the home of a five-member family, which, without any architectural training, has endeavoured to maintain the remaining original elements; all interventions serve only to render an already well-designed apartment even more comfortable and efficient.
