Originally idealised in 1976 by the landscape architect Gonçalo Ribeiro Telles but not completed until late 2012, this green walk connects the city to Monsanto Forest Park and also brings green spaces to the middle of the city. The corridor binds together through pedestrian and bike paths, from South to North, Avenida da Liberdade, the Parque Eduardo VII, the garden Amália Rodrigues, the pedestrian and bike path bridge over Rua Marquês da Fronteira, the meadow near Palácio da Justiça, a skate park, fitness areas, viewpoints, the Gonçalo Ribeiro Telles pedestrian and bike bridge, Amnesty International gardens, Jardins de Campolide and its vegetable park, a playground, and the urban park Quinta José Pinto.
