Brazil is so many: a selection from the PIPA Institute’s collection
Exhibition
This exhibition brings together part of the PIPA Institute's collection, built up over the last 15 years since the creation of the PIPA Prize for contemporary Brazilian art. It presents works from different media which, as well as reflecting the plurality and strength of the art being produced in the country, demonstrate a Brazil marked by political polarisation and cultural conflicts - among them, in the artistic field, visual languages not formed by the canon, which vie for visibility by broadening critical parameters and historical narratives.
Curated by Luiz Camillo Osorio, PIPA Institute.
