About
LINA, the European platform of 32 institutions working at the intersection between architecture and other fields, launches an open call for projects by emerging professionals that answer to the social, environmental and cultural challenges we face towards a more inclusive future.
Learning, Interacting and Networking are LINA’s main focus points for rethinking our living space and everyday experience to overcome our global threats of environmental crisis, and help make the European Green Deal a reality.
Now is your turn to join this alliance and to actively participate in the research, experimentation, publication or other activities developed together with the institutions that are part of LINA.
What is LINA?
LINA is an ecosystem of European and Mediterranean cultural agents, young practitioners and thinkers in architecture. It forms a dynamic network of architectural museums, universities, research networks, foundations, triennali, biennials and other architectural organisations from 23 countries, among them the Lisbon Architecture Triennale.
The platform is coordinated by the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia and co-funded by the Creative Europe initiative of the European Union.
It hosts regular events around responsible architecture and design projects and encourages emerging professionals to contribute to sustainable progress.
Aim
We seek spatial practices that question the status quo made by people and collectives who apply their theoretical and practical knowledge to improve our common future. We want to welcome new emerging voices with the potential to change the world and help amplify their radical ideas.
Send us your proposal! We will help your projects to be heard by the international community through in-depth processes with experts in curation, research, production, communication, education and publishing.
Authors of selected projects will present their work at the LINA conference in Copenhagen, where they will be invited to meet the members, participate in their activities and be part of the Architecture Programme 2023-24 across Europe and the Mediterranean.
