About
The Lisbon Architecture Triennale is a non-profit organisation of public utility that develops regular cultural activities: exhibitions, publications, lectures, workshops, among other initiatives. We’re responsible for both Sinel de Cordes Palace cultural centre’s programme and across different venues in Portugal and abroad.
We aim to foster debate among different groups involved in the conception, programming, practice, and critique of architecture, landscape architecture, and urbanism – whether professionals, artists, students, from politics, economics, journalism, or philosophy, and coming from all over the world.
We are looking for
A person to collaborate with the communication team in promoting initiatives ranging from exhibitions to awards, publications, educational activities and others. The aim is to help disseminate architectural culture, deepen the engagement with a wide audience, ensure the formalisation of communication partnerships and boost participation.
You will
- Upload content to the website and collaborate in redacting reports
- Manage graphic materials’ logistics
- Manage communication partnerships
- Manage archive (texts, images, drawings, quotes, etc.)
- Update and manage databases and mailings
- Contribute to the organisation of events, calendar management and workflow
- Edite biographies, review and proofread contents
We ask for
- A keen sense of organisation
- Excellent writing skills in Portuguese and proficiency in English
- Good command of IT tools, including WordPress and HTML editing
- Comfortable with teamwork
- Good sense of initiative
- Agile in interpersonal communication
- Work experience in a cultural context (preferable)
We offer
This is an opportunity to collaborate in an excellent working environment with a strong team spirit and to get involved in engaging projects bringing together a range of participants in an international programme. The collaboration is on a freelance basis at a monthly rate of €875.
Calendar

- Interviews will be held at the end of March
- The collaboration is intended to begin in May 2024
