Another Lisbon Story

Documentary by Carlo Carbone

Directed by Claudio Carbone, at Lisbon Triennale we've screened the documentary Another Lisbon Story followed by a talk and a Cachupa dinner as a Cape Verde typical recipe.

Close to the Portela airport in Lisbon, the residents of a small neighbourhood are an active part of the decisions of the place where they live. Their homes reflect the absence of a housing policy in recent years, which forces them to find their own tools to solve the problem of the lack of a decent housing.
This film underlines the architect's current responsibilities in urban planning, deciphering and debating the different modes of action and innovation, facing the future urban challenges.

Organized by Plano Lisboa in partnership with Gestual and CIAUD, the event is supported by Serra Henriques Foundation, also institutional partner of Lisbon Architecture Triennale.
