The headquarters of Lisbon Architecture Triennale at Campo de Santa Clara hosted on 28 March 2015, the jury session of the award Archiprix Portugal 2015. This international award is promoted by the Serra Henriques Foundation, honouring the excellence of Portuguese education and granting young architects projection into the beginning of their professional careers.
The evaluation and final collective deliberation took place in the mirror room of the Sinel de Cordes Palace, bringing together the architects Paulo Tormenta Pinto, Pedro Guimarães, Jakub Szczesny, Daniela Arnaut and Paulo Albuquerque Goinhas.
Among the list of finalists in the competition, it was decided, unanimously, the various distinctions of the 3rd edition Archiprix Portugal 2015, consisting of the winner and honorable mentions. The results announcement is scheduled for the 6th of June.
Established since 2012, the Archiprix Portugal Award distinguishes annually the best end of Master's works presented in the areas of Architecture, Urbanism and Landscape Architecture. It is a free, purely institutional and academic award that gives visibility to the diversity and academic quality of the youngest generation of architects. This distinction praises a collective of projects that mirrors the challenges and aspirations of each competitor, supervisor and teaching institution in the national territory, establishing agreements with relevant entities in the dissemination of new talents in architecture, giving them international visibility and privileged public exposure.
