With the launch of Conversas et al. we are reopening the cafeteria and bookstore on Thursdays. This cosy spot, opening onto the Palace's large courtyard, is perfect for moments of energising tranquillity, alone or in good company. We have a selection of organic wines for you to savour while exploring the bookshop publications.
To accompany the calendar of Conversas et al., we invited the Bahian chef from The Food Temple restaurant to create a menu of four appetisers served at the end of each meeting to extend the discussion in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. The delicacies made with organic, seasonal ingredients designed by this temple of vegetarian cuisine go a long way to helping unwind the week's indulgences.
Founded in 2012, The Food Temple is a space where food and cultures meet, a community of cultural gastronomy that now has an extension in Campo Santa Clara, linking it to Mouraria. This creates a space for sharing and exploring the world of flavours. The nourishing dishes at this temple to vegetarian cooking in the up-and-coming Mouraria district go a long way in undoing a weekend of indulgences.
