Described by newspaper Público as a "key name in Portuguese music over the last decade", local singer Maria Reis presents her latest solo album: Suspiro... accompanied by co-producer Tomé Silva on drums and Francisco Couto on bass.
Recognised as one of the voices of the new generation of independent rock, it was in the cult duo Pega Monstro that she took her first steps as a singer and guitarist with her sister Júlia. At just 30 years old, her career has spanned eight albums and EPs.
The garden is the stage for another musical event, hosting the Suspiro... tour, which began on 3 May before heading to Leiria, Coimbra and Porto. Produced by Cafetra - the label co-founded by Maria Reis - and the Filho Único association. The acoustic evening kicks off at 17h with the first part by singer Miana. Saturday 25 May at the Sinel de Cordes Palace.
