Designed Future

The Lisbon Triennale Headquarters based at the Sinel de Cordes Palace opens doors to the more recent editorial project entitled Designed Future - Paulo Mendes da Rocha signed by a young publisher Monade. For this book launch on February 20th at 7pm, the invited speakers are the Brazilian critic of architecture Guilherme Wisnik, and the Portuguese architects and publishers Daniela Sá e João Carmo Simões.

Designed Future is a journey through the modern condition, our urban lives, America, the new territory and the old continent, of vision and drawing as an essential tool for building future.

The most complete collection of texts, interviews and unpublished archival images by Paulo Mendes da Rocha. This book reveals in depth the path and singular thought of one of the most important living architects, the Brazilian master Paulo Mendes da Rocha (born 1928).

On this day, the book which comprises 252 pages will be available on a special sales price among others from Monade’s portfolio. Based in Lisbon and Porto, Monade is an independent publisher founded by architects dedicated to the creation of books on architecture, photography, art and thought.
