Panorama, the Festival of Portuguese documentaries is back and the headquarters of the Lisbon Architecture Triennale was part of this itinerancy for its presentation. The event returns for its 9th edition with a new format and some news, among which the concept of touring, taking place this year in eleven venues. The event, on March 31st, also included the presentation of a short film within the Panorama's programme, ending with a dj set by Catarina in Brussels. According to those responsible for the festival, this edition is considered a kind of "year zero", structured in five days of film screenings spread throughout the city, with the purpose of reaffirming the place of the event as home of the Portuguese documentary, among all the festivals that take place in the city, "and call the public again" for this film genre.
About Panorama
Panorama is a screening of Portuguese Documentary, organized by “APORDOC - Associação pelo Documentário”. One of the aims is to make a complete and broad portrait of the Portuguese documentary and, at the same time, a bridge to the history of cinema. A non-competitive exhibition, dedicated to the national documentary, which took place for the first time in 2006, organized by the Videoteca Municipal.
