Organized by the Irish Architecture Foundation, responsible for Open House Dublin, and co-produced by Open House Essen and Open House Brno, these days will be about The City Invites, opening up the discussion on how accessibility and inclusion can transform cities into open places that welcome everyone. Check out the program.
It begins with This City Imagined, a reflection by the architectural team that remodeled the city's Temple Bar district in the 1990s.
In the public program, The City Belongs panel will delve into the transformative role of the community in urban planning and The City Reused panel on adapting existing spaces for creative and sustainable futures. At The City Includes, the conversation will revolve around access to housing and the principles of universal design, ensuring inclusivity at different levels.
It's expected to be a moment of new ideas and sharing that elevate the purpose of this consortium.
Open House Europe is a cooperation project, co-funded by the European Commission, which promotes international exchange and brings together perspectives and knowledge from different disciplinary fields.
