This workshop leans both towards the artistic and the scientific. We will create a geological matrix of Portugal using different kinds of clay soil from four different areas of the country. Small slabs will be made using the four soils mixed in different proportions. The slabs will then be organized into a matrix, forming a mosaic in which we will be able to observe the diverse mixtures of clay soils, their different colours, grain size, and fissures.
