The Form of Form is the title of the main publication, edited by André Tavares and Diogo Seixas Lopes, Chiefs Curators of The Form of Form. With national and international distribution, Portugal launched a special edition that honors Diogo Seixas Lopes, with an double cover with a photo the exhibition is pavilion by Tiago Casanova. A publication that focuses on the reflection carried out by the Lisbon Triennale 2016, with the support of the Graham Foundation, designed by Drop (João Faria).
Through four on the topics of the main exhibition, joining André Tavares, Jorge Carvalho, Skrei, Usina, Sami, Kersten Geers Nono B. Costa, Mark Lee, Socks Studio, Fig Projects, Stefano Boeri, Malkit Shoshan, Joaquim Moreno Ethel Baraona Pohl, Guillermo López and Anna Piogjaner.
The 219 pages focus on to what the architectural form is, what its significant is and why it is so important today. In order to emphasize that architecture is a visual construct with a full field of responsibilities and hidden values. Even before we think about architecture as means of design, architecture is a type of knowledge with the ability to transform. In all the physical and social transformations of our cities and landscapes what is left is a built form. Architectural forms have endured from the past and they will populate the future.
