Marta holds a diploma in architecture by the Escuela Técnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona (ETSAB-UPC), a master in Arquitectura del Passage by ETSAB-UPC and achieved doctorate in architecture with the thesis “Territory and City” by the Escola de Arquitectura of Minho University (EAUM). In the year 2000 she moved to Portugal and started teaching at EAUM. Marta has been working with architect Carlos Maia, coordinating teams in renowned international and national public institutions in the area of urban strategies.
