51N4E is an international Brussels-based practice, founded in 2000, that aspires to contribute social and urban transformation through the medium of design. 51N4E is led by Johan Anrys and Freek Persyn. It envisions transformations in society through the production of space by rethinking built environments and out-dated urban systems, and also by reimagining how we use such environments in all their complexity. They use the tools of architecture and design to construct dialogues around each project and generate knowledge, working closely with all stakeholders and thus increasing collective intelligence and creating projects with a broader impact.
