Pippo Ciorra is the senior curator of Architecture at Rome’s MAXXI museum. Architect, critic, full Professor of design and theory at the School of Architecture of Ascoli Piceno, University of Camerino, Ciorra is also coordinator of the “Villard d’Honnecourt” international PhD program. Author of a number of books, texts, publications on architects, museums, urban issues (among them Ludovico Quaroni, Peter Eisenman (Electa, 1993) Young Italian Architects (Birkhauser, 2000), Nuova architettura italiana (Skirà, 2002), La metropoli dopo (Meltemi, 2002)). Ciorra curated and designed important exhibitions and installations in Italy and abroad. In 2016 he is part of The International Jury of the 15th International Architecture Exhibition of the Venice Biennale.
