On Tuesday, 7 September 2021, we launched a postcard and stamp commemorating the 10th edition of Open House Lisboa in the courtyard of the Palácio Sinel de Cordes, Lisbon Architecture Triennale’s headquarters. In this session, representatives of the Triennale, CTT - Correios de Portugal, EGEAC and the studio Baldios, which commissions OHL’s 10th edition, came together to celebrate the issuing. Designed by Diogo Lourenço, who is part of the Triennale team, this philatelic piece is a 500-copy limited edition.

This was a symbolic moment of private character in the company of our partners, with the presence of representatives from the cultural departments of the Lisbon City Hall and the Almada City Hall, and the entire Open House Lisboa tutoring and zone coordination teams.

‘As a representative of the Triennale, it was an enormous pleasure for me to witness the recognition of one of the programmes that best fulfills the objective of involving the population with their city and architectural culture’, declared José Mateus, president of the Triennale, at the ceremony.

Under the title The Ways of Water, the Open House Lisboa 2021 takes place on September 25 and 26 in an extended itinerary that covers the two banks of the Tagus river, inviting you to explore two cities: Lisbon and Almada. The 10th edition resumes its usual format and invites people to visit the most diverse spaces, urban itineraries guided by experts and, of course, activities for families that combine workshops with walking tours.
