Common Field identity wins award
We have enthusiastically received the news of the silver distinction awarded to graphic design studio Desisto for the visual identity of the Common Field conferences (2020-2022). With this commission for the cycle of conferences co-produced by the Lisbon Architecture Triennale and Centro Cultural de Belém, the studio born in 2013 is part of the winning group of the 24th festival of Clube Criativos Portugal.
For Campo Comum, the concept of this identity inspired by the curatorial lines has its starting point at a flexible structure and an aggregating collective dynamic. Each duo invited to share their latest architectural projects is distinguished with a specific colour, using the Mad Sans Fill font as a common denominator.

Studio Desisto acts as a multidisciplinary platform based in Lisbon that has developed projects inside and outside Portugal. It crosses disciplines, ideas, prints, shapes, paper and music in juxtapositions that would not be linked otherwise. Ricardo Martins, Margarida Borges and José Mendes are studio Desisto and use the exploratory as raw material. They think, talk, decide, because even with different skills, the objective is common: the studio’s identity.
They embrace different projects from curating exhibitions to publishing books and research projects, carried out in collaboration with people from different artistic fields. In their work there is a strong protagonism of typography, alongside the in-house production of riso printing. Musicbox, Sabotage and Damas are some of their regular customers.
