There are spaces yet to be discovered through the eyes of architectural research. Places that the institutional culture of architecture has not yet gone into. The Club explores the relationship between architecture and nightlife, focussing on one heterotopical lieu that belongs to the urban realm: the nightclub. Its architecture is the one of music: being close to the sound system, sheltering away from it. Project elements: (1) Publication: European clubs and its component elements (2) Thinking & Clubbing: series of lectures juxtapositioned with DJ sessions held at late hours in (3) a physical installation, an architectural piece, called The Club.
