This magazine is the result of the Millennium bcp Lisbon Triennale Universities Award, 2016. The Portuguese schools of architecture were challenged to reflect on a particular territory, integrating in their teaching programmes exercises designed from the specificity of that place. Fourteen schools, including an agronomy school, carried out work during the first half of the 2015-2016 academic year. These pages summarise this combined effort to reveal the broad spectrum of competences in the teaching of architecture in Portugal. The proposed statement, "Sines: urban core, industry and port structure" allowed the articulation of the various responses around a common territory and a set of associated issues. Twenty proposals were selected to represent the various participating schools and to organise an exhibition revealing the positioning of the teaching of architecture in Portugal.
In Portuguese only, this volume is part of a collection dedicated to the core exhibitions of the 2026 Triennale. The three other titles are: Obra; O Mundo nos Nossos Olhos, A Forma da Forma.
