About the Place
Located in the former industrial area of Alvalade on the site of a former chemical factory, this space is home to the 18–25 Research Studio. Founded in 2010, this laboratory specialises in the digital rendering of architectural images. The open-plan refurbishment is organised over two floors: one dedicated to general teamwork and housing the main server, and the other combining a kitchen, social spaces, meeting spaces and Virtual Reality experimentation areas that complement and merge with one another. The space and its research are currently shared with Space Collectors and are open to the public via the new Space Zero exhibition gallery.
