About the Place
On the riverside front of the Calçada da Cruz da Pedra, the new RAR.STUDIO studio occupies one of the shops in a building completed in 1970. The two-storey space was once home to a maritime freight management business that had been closed for 15 years. The two generous iron storefront doors painted grey showed traces of a champagne-coloured aluminum undercoat. Removed and exposed, they defined the possibility of transforming and occupying the space out of the enchantment of its nature, coated but eminently infrastructural.
