About the Place
The former Military Maintenance Flour Mill now forms part of the Lisbon Museum and the Beato Innovation District. It is one of the most representative examples of Portugal’s food heritage, linked to the production and distribution of food supplies to the army. Throughout the 19th and 20th centuries, it played a central role in the modernisation of the food industry, bearing witness to the evolution of production and supply processes.
