About the Place
The Campolide Horticultural Park is part of the Amnesty International Garden, which is part of the Monsanto Green Corridor and Lisbon’s green infrastructure. Designed by landscape architect Gonçalo Ribeiro Telles, the garden was subsequently converted into a municipal horticultural park with his permission, with the elliptical flowerbeds being transformed into vegetable plots. The park comprises 22 plots ranging in size from 50 to 100 m², and as with all municipal allotment gardens, it operates on an organic farming basis.
