The project aimed to transform a building dating from 1898 into a collective housing complex. The building has undergone various uses and transformations throughout the 20th century, the most notable from a typological point of view being the project to convert it into a garage. The proposed intervention preserves only a few elements of the original building, seeking harmony between the singular case and the built ensemble. The U-shaped configuration, oriented to the south, allows for optimal sunlight and views from all units. The proposal is organised around two courtyards. To the north the complex has been extended, and to the south, sections have been demolished to soften its impact. In this way, its presence in the urban fabric is one of morphological continuity.
