About the Place
This old factory was turned into a place for artistic creation, exhibitions and temporary residency. The space’s original characteristics display an expressive and industrial language that the rehabilitation project chose to keep and preserve. Adapting them to the new use, in order to allow for greater comfort in its occupation, the intervention went through the creation of an explicit division between the work area, at the left nave, and a more private residential area, at the right nave. The ironwork was emphasized, as well as the wall’s constructive material, and the floor screed was rehabilitated. Through the preservation of these original elements, the loft’s industrial prominence was regained.
