The open call for volunteers of Open House Lisboa 2026 is open! We’re counting on you for the next edition!
Open House Lisboa takes place thanks to hundreds of people who, over a weekend in May, spread out across the city to welcome visitors, guide them on tours and tell the story of the dozens of venues open to the public.
Every year, the Lisbon Triennale relies on a large team to provide information and guidance to visitors, or to help with children’s activities. In 2026, over 300 volunteers made the 15th edition possible.
Volunteers discover the venues first-hand during preparatory visits and receive training on the programme and curation of each edition. On the ground, roles range from reception and visitor management to leading guided tours and supporting the Junior and Accessible programmes, as well as production logistics.
