Volunteering

The open call for volunteers of Open House Lisboa 2025 is starting with the call for Team Leaders and Tutors.

Since an event such as Open House Lisboa needs a crowd to spread enthusiasm on the city streets, we’re on the lookout for motivated volunteers to take part in its 14th edition, taking place on May 10-11. The volunteers get to know, experience and explore Lisbon, guiding the public through a diverse programme of guided tours to spaces chosen by the architects Daniela Sá and João Carmo Simões (More info).

People from and around Lisbon aged 16 and over, with an interest in architecture and the city’s history or simply curious, with a taste for teamwork, can be part of this remarkable weekend to discover the architecture of this city.

Applications will open soon for those who want to participate and experience Open House Lisboa from the inside (applicants must be fluent in Portuguese).

Originally created in London in 1992 by Victoria Thornton, Open House Lisboa is part of the large Open House Worldwide family. Since 2012, the Triennale has organised the OH Lisboa and every year we need the critical help of a team of 300 people who contribute with their volunteer work, which is vital to the visitor’s experience.
