In response to the needs of two musician friends who wanted to find a creative hub of soundproofed studios for professionals in the city of Lisbon, InSound was created in the space of an old pharmaceutical warehouse in the Olaias neighborhood. As it was an old warehouse, the project was constrained by the lack of natural light and the cold, open-plan space without any relevant architectural features. The proposal comes naturally as if it were a cocoon: dark, cosy, and comfortable. The colour black was the vehicle for the entire proposal, used in the living environment of the common spaces, sanitary and technical facilities as if it were a cave. From here, the lighting takes shape and delimits the doors of all the studios, creating environments of exploration and discovery.
