About the Place
This urban winery is set in a former car repair workshop located in the Belém neighbourhood. Established by Catarina Moreira and David Picard in 2020, the winery includes an area for wine fermentation and ageing, a tasting room with a long communal table and bar area, and a shop. Renovation and conversion for its new use involved installing a seismic-resistant steel structure, new plumbing and electrical systems, fire doors, and an energy-efficient roof. Adopting a craft-based approach, it brings wine production from rural areas into the city centre.
