About the Place
A renovation and conversion of one of the former industrial buildings in Santos on a site measuring 11,000 sq. m. into the head offices of a law firm. Almost completely occupying a whole block close to the former Industrial Institute, the building, which once housed the SOREL automobile workshops, retained a lot of the original and highly interesting features, albeit now in an advanced state of decay. This intervention restored the facades and included the reconstruction of various architectural elements both on the exterior and in interior spaces, such as the spacious, very versatile central space and the use of industrial materials, such as brick and black metal profiles.
