The Count of Verride lived here from 1910 onwards and transformed this 19th-century, multi-storey apartment building into a palace. He installed a lavish, Parisian-style curved staircase in the central hall and created a magnificent first-floor room with an eclectic décor of stucco, wood, tiles and built-in furniture. These features have been restored, lending the space a regal air. The conversion project into a luxury hotel, which began in 2009, sensitively adapted the building for its new purpose while embracing modernity through a refined design. The final result comprises a wide variety of spaces that coexist harmoniously and fluidly.
