About the Place
With an area of approx. 30 sq. m and a demanding programme, this renovation design is illustrative of a recent trend towards transforming so-called concierge houses that have become increasingly obsolete into modern housing. This apartment on the seventh and recessed floor of a 1960s building was conceived as a single space organised into two separate areas, reception and bedroom spaces, which are separated by an element that functions as a wardrobe and a raised floor for the bedroom area. The lack of space is compensated by optimisation of the relationship between the interior area and the spacious terrace with unrestricted views through two large windows, one on each side.
